A family wants to be independent and to break out from the daily racing- more and more
Our ambition to independency and freedom was reached with our two years outtime, from September 2020 to August 2022. We quitted our jobs and left our house in Munich. Together with our four kids we have started a new life, begining with
- a ten month journey within our truck by travelling through Southern-Eastern Europe up to Mesopotamia.
- a acquisition of a leagcy school within a small village.

The family introduces themselves
We are six, the parents Lisa and Nils, and our four kids, Janick (born 2003), Finn (born 2007), Luna (born 2010) and Lotta (born 2019).
Our mobile home
Our mobile home is a reconstructed Mercedes LA710 Truck, established 1964. Since February 2019 we have remodeled our truck in order to start traveling.
Our timeout and all other trips with our family and in our truck
Our timeout started in September 2021 and is still running. Our restart is still in progress.
Our service
We, a family with four kids, lived several years in different campers (more than two years within our currently truck), have drove tenthousends kilometers through Europe and Middle East and have constructed our own mobile home. A snapshot of our experience are illustrated on this webpage. We would be only too pleased to come in communication with you in order to interact with you.
Our journey
Lisa and me met at 1999 the first time in Frankfurt/ Main, Germany. I introduced myself for a flatshare room where Lisa lived with four other students. And I got the room. From this point we, Lisa and I, lived together until now. From this day our friendship grown from day to day. Lisa gone to the university and I started my first job for a big american consulting company. Lisa studited diligent science of education and I worked in several projects across Europe.
Year 2001 the flatshare group disbanded, but we still stay together and have been moved in a small flat inside Frankfurt. Two years later, 2003, our first child, Yanick, has been born.
Year 2004 we married and 2005 we have been relocated in a house in an outlying district of Frankfurt. Year 2006 Lisa finalised her study and I started a new job by a global industrial company.
Year 2007 we relocated to Munich and our second child, Finn, has been born. From this time I traveled across the whole world and was been in home infrequently and Lisa teaches our kids. Year 2008 we relocated again in a bigger house inside Munich and Lisa has been started as teacher. Our holidays with our two boys has been done mainly in big resorts in Italy, France and Egypt.
Year 2010 our third child, Luna, has been born and within us a change has been started. I traveled less for my job and tried to reduced my daily work hours with the consequence more time for my family and more conflicts with my boss. Also our holidays have been changed, we have bought our first caravan, a camper-trailer, and we searched more and more the journey throught the nature away from the hustle and bustle of the touristic centers. Kayak tours throght France and Spain, traveling along the North Coast of Spain, several trips troght Italies nature and mountain lake hopping in the Alps. In between we have bought a other camper, a VW LT Florida (30 years old).
Year 2019 our fourth child, Lotta, has been born and we have bought our truck, a Mercedes LA 710, year of construction 1963. We, Lisa and I, took a job break for several included a two month journey along the North- and Baltic-Sea from the Netherlands, Germany until Denmark, Norway and Sweden with the whole family in our truck. One year later, 2020, I have cancelled my job and we have cancelled our house in Munich and we have started a new chapter of our life. We lived more than one year in our truck and bought us a legacy school in a small village in Germany. From this point we discovering the world.
