We had nice weather all day. In the morning we took a long walk through Słońsk and visited a playground surrounded by historical buildings. Back on the road we drove through a wonderful nature. In the afternoon we reached the wonderful Lipie lake (Jezioro Lipie) in Długie with a great beach and mets nice peoples playing with us in the lake.

After a long ride on the road through a fastiantice nature we reached our next amazing overnight spot. We overnighted directly at the Białe lake (Jezioro Białe).

A wonderful day with wonderful weather. In the morning we were woken up by the sun on Lake Białe (Jezioro Białe). Our ride let us through the wonderful scenery of Dobrcz and Pruszcz Pomorski. We witnessed a firefighting operation near Chełmno. In Chełmno we have found an amazing spot at the Vistula River (Wislany Zalew) for our lunch break. In the afternoon we visited Grudziądz with an amazing historical centre. The fair and the market square with lots of children were a highlight, especially for Lotta.

In the evening we found a wonderful place to spend the night in the center of Sztum.

19th of May 2024

In the morning we had a wonderful walk in beautiful sunny weather in Sztum. After a short visit of Malbork we decided to drive further to Gdańsk and we will come back to Malbork later. In Gdańsk we took a long break in a park with a great playground and a fitness trail. Here we took the opportunity to wash our clothes in a self-service laundry.

In the afternoon we drove to the airport to pick up the rest of the family. Then we continued along the coast to the eastern point of the Polish coast. Here we found a great place to stay overnight right on the coast. In the evening we had football and volleyball matches at the beach. Before we went to bed we were visited by a wild boar.

In the morning we took a great 3 km forest walk to the Russian border. We took a short break with a short game of volleyball at Piaski Beach (Piaski Wejście) in front of the border with Russia. Then we walked back to our truck at the beautiful and quiet Piaski Beach. At lunchtime we had a chips and fish lunch right on the beach.

In the afternoon we drove along the Vistula Spit (Mierzeja Wiślana) to Frombork. Before reaching Frombork we took a short break in Tolkmicko. In Frombork we had a overnight spot between the historical centre and the leisure park. The historic center is entirely in the spirit of Nicholas Copernicus.

21st of May 2024

In the morning we enjoyed the good weather at the beach of Frombork and again we had a volleyball match at the beach. Then we took a short break in Braniewo with a small but nice historical center. At the noon time we visited the ship lift of the line Żegluga Ostródzko - Elbląska near by Pasłęk. Here we found a great spot with electricity, freshwater and warm showers. The boat lift across the grasslands is fantastic. In the afternoon we came back to Malbork and visited the impressive Marien Castle (Marienburg). We had a one hour tour of the Marienschloss.

In the evening we made an overnight stop in front of the dinosaur park in Malbork, a wish from Lotta.

22nd of May 2024

We spent half the day in the dinosaur park in Malbork. Our children and we also enjoyed our time in the dinosaur park. We had matches in hovercrafts on land and on water, fun on the carousel and fun on the high ropes forest adventure course. In the afternoon we drove to Gdansk via Miłoradz and Tczew. In Gdańsk we found our overnight spot by the local music school. In the evening we walk through the impressive historical center of Gdansk.

23rd of May 2024

We had a wonderful morning in the historic center of Gdansk. We went to St. Mary's Church and shopped in the historic market hall. In addition we had a lunch in a family restaurant. In the afternoon we left Gdańsk in direction to north along the coast. Next we visited Sopot, a high society spot. Finally we drove to the northern tip of Poland. Here we turned to the peninsula Hel.

Nearby Jastarnia we found an overnight spot with an own access to both beaches, the beach to the bay of Gdańsk and the beach of the Baltic sea.

24th of May 2024

We had a wonderful morning at the beach of Jastarnia. We built a sandcastle and played volleyball. Next we left the peninsula Hel and turned to the polish coast after Władysławowo. In Karwia we had to leave the coast for a few kilometers. In Łeba we were back on the Polish coast. 

Here we found our overnight spot at the entrance to the Słowiński National Park (Słowiński Park Narodowy).

In the evening we took an electric public bus the the Wydma Dune (Wydma Łącka). We enjoyed the amazing Wydma Dune and were very impressed by the endless sand dune. Finally, we walked 8 km along the Łeba beach (Łeba Plaża naturystyczna) back to our truck.

25th of May 2024

We left our overnight spot at the entrance to the Słowiński National Park (Słowiński Park Narodowy) very early because we had to pay for every hour. Next we had to left the coast in order to bypass the Słowiński National Park. In Słupsk we turned back to the road leading to the polish coast. In Ustka we found an amazing overnight spot very close to the Ustka beach (Wejście Ustka). We enjoyed the sun on the beach in Ustka until it started to rain. Therefore we went back to the truck in order to took our rain clothes for a 4 km walk to Ustka. In Ustka we had a ice cream for Lotta and a waffle for myself. Then we walked back the 4 km distance to our truck.

26th of May 2024

We left Ustka by rain and decided to ride further along the polish coast to the West. In Darłowo we had our lunch break at the beach. Our children's took a bath in the cold Baltic Sea (17 degree). We enjoyed the time at the Darłowo beach (Darłówko, plaża zachodnia). In Mielno we took an additional break between the Jamno lake (Jezioro Jamno) and the Baltic Sea. In Podczele near Kołobrzeg we found a great place to stay overnight at the former airport of Kołobrzeg (Lotnisko Bagicz). In the evening we visited the beach in Kołobrzeg (Plaża Podczele Kołobrzeg) before going to bed. The night at the former airport of Kołobrzeg provided breathtaking images due to the extreme thunderstorm fronts.

27th of May 2024

In the morning we visited Kołobrzeg beach (Plaża Podczele Kołobrzeg) again and enjoyed the wonderful weather. Then we continued along the Polish coast to Dźwirzyno. Here we drove along a small headland between Lake Resko Przymorskie and the Baltic Sea. In Rogowo we had a lunch break in a burger restaurant wished by Luna. In the front of the restaurant we had a playground wished by Lotta. In Mrzeżyno we left the polish coast and turned back to the coast in Trzebiatów. In Rewal we were back on the polish coast. In Dziwnów we left the Polish mainland and entered the island of Wolin (Usedom). In Misdroy (Miedzyzdroje) we chosen a campground as overnight spot in oder to refill water and electricity and to take a warm shower.

Our shortest road trip from Misdroy/ Międzyzdroje to Świnoujście (Swinemünde). The day started with grey clouds and we decided to pack everything up before the rain came. We drove to Świnoujście in the rain. Here we visited the Polish market, bought clothes and had lunch. 

In the afternoon we found a beautiful place to stay overnight between the beach of Świnoujście (Plaża Świnoujście) and the mouth of the river Świne. 

We spent the whole afternoon walking through Świnoujście. We started at the promenade of the the Świnoujście beach. Afterwards we strolled into the historic old town and to the beautiful city park with several playgrounds. In the evening we walked along the Świna river back to our truck.
