11th of July 2024

In the morning, when the weather was nice, we took a walk along the Lausitzer Neiße river (Nysa Łużycka). Next we passed the polish border to Zgorzelec. In Bolesławiec we had a Wonderful break. We parked under the Railway Bridge called "Most nad Bober". Here we spent a lot of time at the Skatepark Bolesławiec with many highlight for Kids. In the afternoon we walked through the historical centre of Bolesławiec. Finally, Lotta had fun at a fair.

Next we drove through Lower Silesia (Niederschlesien) and passed the towns Tomaszów Bolesławiecki, Chojnów and Legnica. In the evening we found an amazing overnight stay in Jaśkowice Legnickie directly at the bank of the lake "Jezioro Jaśkowickie".

12th of July 2024

We were woken up by the sun and enjoyed the wonderful view across the lake "Jezioro Jaśkowickie". Next we drove again through the wonderful scenery of Lower Silesia (Niederschlesien). In Ścinawa we crossed the Oder on a nostalgic bridge. After the town Wińsko we reached Rawicz. Here we found a great spot at the lake Poligon. Originally we had only planned a break in Rawicz, but discovered that the shock absorber on our truck was defective. Therefore we need to call assistance with the consequence that we had to wait until Monday for repairing the antishock.

Nevertheless, we were lucky to find this wonderful place for an unplanned stop.

13th-14th of July 2024

Due to the unplanned stop, we had to stay the whole weekend in Rawicz, near a great leisure park. At Saturday morning we spent mainly at the leisure park and were busy with playing at the playground and skating at the parque.

In the afternoon the weather was better and we were able to swim in the lake. The day ended with a nice sunset.

On Sunday morning we took our beach equipment to relax on the beach. In the afternoon we went to the train station where we picked up Luna, Finn and Lisa. At the way back we were surprised by a storm but we had the luck to find a fast Food Restaurant were we took our dinner.

And also this day ended with a wonderful sunset.

15th of July 2024

In the morning I drove to the garage in order to repair the antishock of our truck. The rest of the family stayed at Lake Poligon and enjoyed the hot summer day. Lotta learned to swim with the help of her mother and sister. In addition Lotta had a lot of fun with her brother in the lake. At the same time I was waiting for our truck in the garage. After Five Hours our truck has been repaired and we were able to continue our road trip.

In the afternoon we drove through the wonderful scenery of Greater Poland and passed the towns of Miejska Górka, Krotoszyn, Ostrowo and Kalisz. At the lake Zbiornik Szałe we found an amazing overnight stay directly at the beach called "Plaża nad zalewem Szałe".

16th of July 2024

In the morning we enjoyed this wonderful spot and played with our self constructed ball sand-path. Because of the high temperatures, we tried unsuccessfully to find a swim in Lake Jeziorsko. But we find a good bath stop at the river Warta not far from the lake Jeziorsko. In Ozorków we had our next stop at Plaża miejska a beach of the lake Zalew Ozorkowski.

Next we drove without break to Warszawa (Warschau) and here we found a nice overnight spot below the historical centre of Warszawa. Before bed time we visited a playground and the marketplace of the historical centre.

17th of July 2024

We spent the morning and afternoon in Warsaw. Here we were very impressed of the historical centre of Warszawa. In the afternoon we visited the Warsaw Ghetto, a historical site, and we were amazed at how this place was hidden among modern complexes.

We continued to the north-east of Poland and passed the towns of Stanisławów, Łochów and Sadowne. In Łochów we had a break at a surreal polish holiday spot.

In the evening we found a wonderful overnight spot in Brok directly at the river Bug.

18th of July 2024

We had a wonderful morning in Brok, crowned by a swim in the river Bug. Next we left the polish Region Masowien and drove trought the Beautiful sceneria of the polish region Podlachien. Here we passed the towns of Czyżew and Wysokie Mazowieckie. In Bialystok, the biggest town of Podlachien, we had a wonderful break by visiting the castle and the great city park. In Addition we took in Bialystok our lunch in a local restaurant.

In the afternoon we drove to the North and before Sztabin we found an amazing spot for the night directly at the river Biebrza. In the evening we played a board game before we went to bed.

19th of July 2024

In the morning we enjoyed our amazing overnight spot and took a bath in the river Biebrza. Next we enjoyed our ride through the Masuria nearby Augustow. In the afternoon we drove through the wonderful scenery of the north-east Poland, the Region Podlachien. Here we left Poland and reached Lithuania. In Lithuania we had a wonderful break at the lake Dusia and visited the amazing spot of Prelomciškė Mound. 

Next we passed the towns of Alytus, Pivašiūnai and Dusmenys. In the evening we reached Vilnius, the capital of Lithuania. After a long searched for a overnight spot we decided to stay at the Campsite "Camping Vilnius City".
