Today we started our next road trip to Tallinn, the capital of Estonia. At lunchtime we started our new journey from our hometown. First we had to cross the mountains of he the Taunus. We had our first break in Bad Nauheim, an amazing City with a wonderful city park. The City park is characterised with graduation houses and an amazing water playground. Next we had to cross the Vogelsberg mountain.

In Fulda we found our place to stay overnight near the center and the Fulda river.

08th of July 2024

In Fulda, our overnight stay, we started with a visit of the Wonderful historical centre. Next we found an amazing water playground where we spent the whole noon time. Here Lotta had fun with a lot of other kids. In the afternoon we drove to Hofbieber where we visited the unshod-adventure Trail (Barfuß-Erlebnispfad Hofbieber). This Trail finished with a kneipp-bath ideal for Lotta to have fun in the water. 

On our trip through Thuringia we passed the Thuringia-Forest (Thüringer Wald) and the towns of Meiningen, Suhl and Rudolstadt.

In Saalfeld we found our overnight spot in the front of the fairy forest. Here Lotta has fun with other children until almost midnight.

09th of July 2024

In the morning we visited the groove of Saalfeld. Lotta was impressed from the fairies living in the groove. Afterwards we hiked through the Saalfeld fairytale forest and Lotta was in her element. In the afternoon we found a shady playground in Werdau. Here we took a longer break to escape the heat. At this playground we met many nice people who played with Lotta and surprised us with cookies.

In the evening we enjoyed the scenery of Saxony before we reached our overnight spot in Dresden.

10th of July 2024

We started this hot day with a walk through the historic city center of Dresden. Because of the heat we gone forward to the public swimming pool called Georg-Arnhold-Bad. Here we had a lot of fun in the cool water. At lunchtime we returned to our truck and visited the beautiful old town of Dresden once again.

In the afternoon we drove through Saxony and passed the towns of Bischofswerda and Bautzen. In Weißenberg we took a break to buy groceries. Due to a storm, this break has to be extended.

In the evening we reached Görlitz and here we found an amazing overnight spot in front of a football stadium.
