In the morning we enjoyed our amazing overnight spot and took a bath in the river Biebrza. Next we enjoyed our ride through the Masuria nearby Augustow. In the afternoon we drove through the wonderful scenery of the north-east Poland, the Region Podlachien. Here we left Poland and reached Lithuania. In Lithuania we had a wonderful break at the lake Dusia and visited the amazing spot of Prelomciškė Mound.
Next we passed the towns of Alytus, Pivašiūnai and Dusmenys. In the evening we reached Vilnius, the capital of Lithuania. After a long searched for a overnight spot we decided to stay at the Campsite "Camping Vilnius City".

In the morning we left our overnight spot, the campsite "Camping Vilnius City" in order to drive to the city park "Vingio Parkas". Here we rented e-scooters for the whole family to reach the historic center of Vilnius. In Vilnius we had an extensive walk through the wonderful historical centre. After this wonderful experience, we rented e-scooters again and drove back to our truck in Vingio Park. Next we left Vilnius by passing the town of Vievis in order to reach Kaunas our next planned city trip.

In the afternoon we reached Kaunas and found a great parking spot near the historic center of Kaunas. In the evening we walked through the City park "Santakos Parkas" and the small but fine historical centre of Kaunas. Here we had dinner in an Asian restaurant. Next we followed the road to west. We passed the towns of Raudondvaris and Miškiniai. Finally we found a wonderful overnight spot in Vilkija directly at the river Neman. Here we had a great view to the nostalgic Ferry.

The whole day we followed the river Nemunas (Memel) respectively the border to Russia. We started at our overnight spot in Vilkija. Here we spent a wonderful morning in a fantastic place and listened to music by Louis Armstrong. Next we had a noon time stop in Raudonė. Here we visited Raudonė Castle and had lunch in a restaurant serving local specialties.
In the afternoon we had a bath stop in the river Nemunas (Memel) by Molynė. Next we visited Bitėnai and here we found an amazing spot with a open air museum and a crazy summer quarters of storks. In Panemunė we had a view of the Russian city of Tilsit.
In the evening we found a great overnight spot in Rusnė.

In the morning we took a refreshing swim in the river Nemunas near Rusnė. Afterwards we celebrated Lisa’s birthday. Next we headed west and reached the ocean. It took us 16 days to reach the ocean in southwest Lithuania near Klaipėda. In Klaipėda we rented a car in order to drive across the Courland Spit. Before we needed Patience in order to board at the Ferry to the Courland Spit which seperate the Baltic Sea from the Courland Lagoon respectively Kuršių marių biosferos poligonas. Our first target at Courland Spit was the town of Hidden here we walked through the city and visited the legacy summer house of Thomas Mann. Afterwards we went to Pervalka beach, where we enjoyed the summer sun and the Baltic Sea.
In the afternoon we passed the town of Juodkrantė and took at the North of the Courland Spit the Ferry back to Klaipėda. In the evening we found our overnight spot at the lake of Palanga.

In the morning I needed to do some paperwork because of our trouble with a garage in Germany. At the same time, the rest of the family enjoyed the morning at Lake Palanga. Here the family jumped from one water-bouncy castle to the next.
At lunchtime we tried unsuccessfully to find a laundry service in Palanga. Therefore we needed to drive back to Klaipėda and here we found a laundry service. The whole afternoon we stood in Klaipėda and took the chance to visit the city of Klaipėda.
Next we drove again to the north and crossed to border from Lithuania to Latvia. In Latvia we took the first exit to the Baltic Sea and we found a wonderful overnight spot in Pape in the middle of a national park called "Dabas parks Pape".
