In the morning we enjoyed the great weather at Šventoji beach. Although we were unable to swim in the Baltic Sea due to the cold wind, we still had a lot of fun on the beach.
In the afternoon we reached Klaipėda where we had a short sightseeing tour before we to the ferry to the Courland Spit. Here we visited the a sightseeing hotspot called "meškos galvos apžvalgos aikštelė". At the end of the Courland Spit we were impressed about the scenery to the Russian Border.
Afterwards we visited the town of Nida where we had a wonderful walk followed by an amazing lunch with local specialities. In the evening we took the Ferry back to Klaipėda. Here we enjoyed the wonderful sunset in the harbour. Next we try to find an overnight spot at the coast of Giruliai without success. Finally we found our overnight spot in front of the Klaipėda stadium (Klaipėdos centrinis stadionas).

In the morning we took the opportunity to do some sports around the Klaipėda Stadium (Klaipėdos centrinis stadionas). Afterwards we took the road to north-east where we passed the towns of Kretingalė and Nasrėnai. In Nasrėnai we visited a small open-air Museum called "Vyskupo Motiejaus Valanciaus gimtines muziejus". We had a lot of fun here, especially in the museum garden. Then we drove to Salantai where we visited again a open-air spot, a sculpture park called "Orvidų sodyba". We were very impressed by the fascinating landscape of this park.
In the afternoon we drove to the lake Platelial (Plateliu ežers). Here we had a bath in the lake before we reached our overnight spot in Džiuginėnai. Here we spent the night at Lake Germanto (Germanto ežero) and enjoyed a wonderful sunset over the lake before going to bed.

In the morning we enjoyed the wonderful weather at this wonderful spot. We took a bath in the Lake Germanto (Germanto ežero) and Lotta wons a lot of new friends. At the noon time we drove to east and had our lunch breack in Kuršėnai. We found a great parking spot between the city park and the city center.
In the afternoon we drove north where we visited Kryžių kalnas, a hill with many crosses, much hope and many stories. Afterwards we countione to north and passed the towns of Pašvitinys and Nociūnai. Between Žeimelis and Ādžūni we passed the border to Latvia.
In front of the Rundāle Castle (Rundāles pils) we had an amazing overnight spot. Before going to bed, we took a beautiful walk around the castle and enjoyed the wonderful view of the illuminated castle.

In the morning we visited the Museum of the Rundāle Castle (Rundāles pils muzejs). We were very impressed by the beautiful design of the castle rooms. At lunchtime we admired Bauska Castle (Bauskas pils). Between Skaistkalne and Germaniškis we crossed the border to Lithuania.
In the afternoon we had a break in Biržai. Here we took a walk in the park around Biržai Castle (Biržų pilies rūmai). At the central city beach (Centrinis miesto pliažas) we took a bath in the Širvėna Lake (Širvėna ežeras).
Back on the road we continued to south and passed the towns of Vabalninkas and Kupiškis. In Aukštupėnai we had a break at the Kupiškio lake (Kupiškio tvenkinys).
In the evening we found our overnight spot in Paežeriai in front of the Viešintos lake (Viešintų Ežeras).

In the morning we took a refreshing swim in the river Nemunas near Rusnė. Afterwards we celebrated Lisa’s birthday. Next we headed west and reached the ocean. It took us 16 days to reach the ocean in southwest Lithuania near Klaipėda. In Klaipėda we rented a car in order to drive across the Courland Spit. Before we needed Patience in order to board at the Ferry to the Courland Spit which seperate the Baltic Sea from the Courland Lagoon respectively Kuršių marių biosferos poligonas. Our first target at Courland Spit was the town of Hidden here we walked through the city and visited the legacy summer house of Thomas Mann. Afterwards we went to Pervalka beach, where we enjoyed the summer sun and the Baltic Sea.
In the afternoon we passed the town of Juodkrantė and took at the North of the Courland Spit the Ferry back to Klaipėda. In the evening we found our overnight spot at the lake of Palanga.

We started this day with a bath in the Viešintos lake (Viešintų Ežeras). At the noon we took the road to south where we passed the towns of Andrioniškis, Anykščiai and Antakščiai, a so called tribbel "A" tour. In Molėtai we took the motorway to Vilnius. Before Vilnius we had our lunch break at The Geographical Centre Of Europe near by Radžiuliai.
In the afternoon we reached Vilnius. Here we found a parking spot at the bottom of the Mount Gediminas (Gedimino kalnas) the Gediminas tower (Gedimino pilies bokštas). We explored the historic old town until sunset. We were able to enjoy the sunset at the Mount Gediminas. We overnighted at the City Camping site of Vilnius.

We left the capital of Lithuania and drove to the former capital Trakai. In Trakai we visited the popular Castle (Trakų salos pilis). We had an extensive walk along the lake Galve (Galvės ežeras) and around the Trakai Castle. At the end of our walk we treated ourselves to an ice cream and enjoyed the view.
In the afternoon we countiune to west. We had our next break in the middle of a forest and visited the Velnio duobė/ Devil's Pit. A crater in nowhere. We were very impressed by our walk through the Devil's Pit.
In the evening we reached Rumšiškės and visited the open-air museum of Lithuania. All houses were closed but we were alone and we could explore towns of the past by dusk.
We overnight at the kauno sea (kauno marios) nearby the legacy capital of Lithuania called Kaunas.

In the morning I was the only one who took a short walk along the Kaunas Sea (Kauno Marios). Then we drove to Kaunas where we had a Wonderful walk by wonderful weather. We started at the Kaunas castle (Kauno pilis) and ended in the historical centre where we visited the St. George Martyr Church (Šv. Jurgio Kankinio (pranciškonų) bažnyčia) and the Cathedral of St. Peter and Paul (Šv. apaštalų Petro ir Povilo arkikatedra bazilika).
In the afternoon we drove to south-east and passed the town Pilviškiai. In Vilkaviškis we had our first stop and took a bath in the Paežeri lake (Ežeras Paežerių). Afterwards we drove to east and visited the town of Kybartai. Here we were able to have a look to the Russia town of Eydtkau. Then we drove to soth where we had our next stop at a rock called Vištyčio akmuo with a view to Russia.
In Vištytis we found our overnight stop in front of the Wystiter lake.
