We have arrived Piraeus very early in the darkness. After the sunrise we have reached Chalkida, the capital of the Isle Euboea. Chalkida is embossed by the sea and many bridges. We have found a central parking area with a playground for Lotta. After the breakfast we visited the centre of Chalkida. 

In the noon time we drove forward to the north of Euboea. We were impressed from the nature and the silence. The north of Euboea is sparsely populated. Especially the North-East where we found our overnight spot is characterised of a natur not influenced by the human. The streets are unmade or neglected. Our overnight spot was directly in the sand of the Loutro beach.

In the morning I was busy with my first repair of our truck. The truck has lost the braking pressure. At some point I have found the right regulating screw in order to generate the needed braking pressure. Now we set off again to discover the nature of Euboea. We took the road from the North-East to the North-West from Kotsikia visiting Kerasia and Kiparissi. In the afternoon we reached the harbour of Agiokampos. Here we have left Euboea by taking the ferry to Glifa. Back at the mainland of Greece we took the main road in direction to North.

In the evening we crossed the city centre of Vólos. At the end we found a campground in Kato Gatzea directly at the Kato Gatzea beach.

Back at the road to North. We took only one break in order to buy some equipment for the furniture of the truck. After this break we reached the coast road to North by Platamonas. Also we reached the Region East Olympus (Anatolikos Olympos) where we will overnight for today. 

In Plaka we took a campground the the coast with view to the mountain Olympus.

Date 03rd of November 2020

The morning was cloudy but nevertheless we started our trip to get a view to the Olymp. In Litochoro we were able to see the mountains around the Olymp but the Olymp itself was hidden behind clouds. Our next stop was Thessaloniki and the weather was sunny and warm. We had a walk along the sea. In Thermaikos we looked for an overnight spot but the beaches was very visited by dogs therefore we drove forward along the coast of Chalkidiki.

In Epanomi we found a wonderful overnight spot at the beach. Here we enjoyed the evening and the amazing sunset.

From one amazing overnight spot to the next, from one amazing beach to the next. We spent a lot of time at the Epanomi Beach. We were outside by sunrise until noon. In the afternoon we drove to the south west of Chalkidiki. In Nea Potidea we crossed the Channel of Potidea and reached the Isle Kassandra. In Athytos we found our overnight spot directly at the beach. In the evening we decorated our overnight spot with candles and fairy lights.

Date 05th of November 2020

Today we wants to visit all fingers of Chalkidiki. We woke up in Kassandra at the Athytos beach. Here we had an extensive walk from the morning until the noon time. In the afternoon we reached the second finger called Sithonia. Here we visited Neos Marmaras Beach and cooked our lunch directly at the beach. At the entry to Athos we visited two beached the Ierissos and the Kakoudia beach.

At Kakoudia beach we stayed for the night directly in the sand of the beach.

Date 06th of November 2020

We were woken up with the sunrise. After the breakfast we relaxed the whole morning at this wonderful beach. The Kakoudia Beach is characterised by fantastic rock formations.

At the noon time we drove straight forward the North in order to reach the border to Bulgaria. In the evening we reached Bulgaria and overnighted on a campground directly behind the border in Bulgaria.
