We left Brindise in the evening and 18 hours later we reached Patras in the noon time. Very fast we were back on the road and have looked for an overnight spot directly at the beach. But before we needed something to eat and found an excellent family restaurant in Manolada and we were able to eat local specialities together with the local family.
In the afternoon we found our overnight spot at the beach of Manolada, Paralia Manolada. A wonderful spot where we enjoyed the sunset and the freedom.

Perfect weather and we follow the motto "take it easy" and "slow down!". We took time to enjoy the morning at the beach "Paralia Manolada". At the noon time we have refilled our fridge and pantry and drove to our next overnight spot by Kourouta.
Our overnight spot was directly at the beach this time Marathias Beach. We cavorted, burrowed, played and relaxed at the beach the complete afternoon. In the evening we have again an amazing sunset followed by an extended walk along the coast of western Peloponnese /Peloponnes/ Peloponnesus.

Today we reached one of the famous spots worldwide "Olympia" in Archea Olymbia. Olympia is human history. I know so many stories about Olympia, from comics as child, movies as teen, books as student and from documentation movies as adult. And at this day I was here in person. We marveled the statues, the temples, one of the seven wonders of the world and the historical sports facilities. My highlight was the race with my kids at the historical course.
Our overnight spot was a campground with swimming pool close to Olympia.

We were back on the road and I enjoyed the sunny weather. Consequently I missed the right way followed by an extra turn visiting the towns Lalas, Helidonio, Latzoi und Vervasena and back to Olympia. Now we were back again on the road following the right way to the mountains Arkadien. In the afternoon we reached the rise to the mountains Arkadien by Kapellitsa.
More than one hour later we enjoyed the view down to the towns Stavrodromi and Lefkochori. In the evening we found an amazing overnight spot at the top of a mountain with an amazing view to Langadia. We get into the bed with a wonderful sunset above the mountains.

We started early with the ride through the mountains Arkadien but we were stopped by sheeps. The sheepdogs supported our continuation of one's journey. In the middle of Arkadien, in Levidi, we enjoyed our lunch in a local restaurant.
Then a historical highlight was followed Mycenae / Mykene / Mykines. We spent several hours to visit Mycenae / Mykene / Mykines. Consequently we reached our next overnight spot, a campground at the coast of Panagia very late. The late arrive was supported by the climb the mountains Argolis.

At the campground in Panagia we stayed the following two days. We enjoyed the time mainly at the gravel beach called Yialasi beach. At this two days we lived only from day to day. Luna and Finn took repeatedly swimming in the ocean and tried to fishing, the first time. After two days extreme relaxing we had cleaned clothes and we had wanderlust to the road.

After three days we restarted our Road Trip. Start was the coast way along the Saronic Gulf. We enjoyed the ride and the fantastic view. In #Corinth / #Kórinthos / #Korinth we had an break at the harbour, the entry to the canal cutting the Isthmus of Corinth. The visit of #Corinth / #Kórinthos / #Korinth is planned for tomorrow.
We gone forward to #Akrokorinth / #Akrokórinthos the historical castle due west from #Corinth / #Kórinthos / #Korinth. We have found an amazing overnight spot bottom of the #Akrokorinth / #Akrokórinthos castle with view to the Corinthian Gulf.

After the breakfast we climbed up to the fantastic castle #Akrokorinth / #Akrokórinthos. An extensive break followed in the Ancient Corinth, here we visited the historical centre with the Theater and the Temple of Apollo. In between of the several historical buildings their is a big playground and a small shopping mile. Consequently everybody can do he/ she wants.
At the none time we had our lunch break and visited the dizzy height bridge above the canal of #Corinth / #Kórinthos / #Korinth.
In the afternoon we drove along the coast of the Megara Gulf and Gulf of Elefina to #Athens / #Athen / #Athina. Unfortunately in Athens the campground was closed therefore we took the next campground in Kifissiá.

In the morning we drove to Athens and we spent the whole noon and afternoon around the acropolis, one of the famous historical buildings worldwide. The complete family was impressed by the iconic acropolis of Athens.
In the evening we drove to the harbour of Piraeus in order to took the ferry to Chania / Χανιά on the Isle Crete. Before we embarking we had the ability to make a city round in Piraeus.
Since the kids were sleeping the parents took the chance for a glass wine at the deck of the ferry.
