At this day we entered Spain from Le Perthus, France to Le Perthus, Spain. Our target is a campsite close to Tarragona. Our plan was to take time for the journey back, therefore we wanted achieved our target as soon as possible. We have to be back in Germany on time, because Janick has his driving test.

Date 12th of April a special photo story about Tarragona.

We spent the whole day in Tarragona. Tarragona is an amazing town for a family with many playgrounds and car-free areas. Everywhere the traces are visible of the roman history. At the end, Lotta is falled asleep lucky in the arms of Finn, her brother.

Date 13th of April

We left Tarragona along the North-East coast to Sitges. Sitges is a beautiful sea resort at the Costa del Garraf. In the evening we had a walk on the promenade with ice cream. We have selected Sitges manly for the good public transport connections to Barcelona.

FC Barcelona vs. Eintracht Frankfurt 2 : 3

An amazing day for Janick and every other Eintracht Frankfurt supporter, a football match against FC Barcelona in Camp Nou. The final match for winning the quarterfinals. More than 100 thousands fans and me and Janick right in the middle. At the end Eintracht Frankfurt has won the match 3 : 2 and has won the quarterfinals. Finally Eintracht Frankfurt has won the Europa League 2022 in Sevilla against Glasgow Rangers.

Date 15th of April a special photo story about Barcelona.

With the train we have drove to Barcelona. We spent the day mainly in the Parc de la Ciutadella and in the streets of the Ciutat Vella close to the old harbour. This parts of Barcelona are ideal for families with kids, free of cars and short ways.

One day in one of our favorite cities of Spain.

Date 16th of April

Before we followed the road along the coast to the North we had an additional stop in Barcelona. With our car we had a stop at the Sagrada Família a wonderful building. We had to be in mind, that tomorrow is easter an important day for every kids.

In the evening we reached Sant Pere Pescador and have overnighted at a camping site.

Date 19th of April

Our last etape for this tour in Spain from Sant Pere Pescador to Portbou respectively the border to France. This 42 km let us through an amazing landscape up to the beautiful town of Portbou.

Portbou a beautiful small town with an important train transport nodal point.
