A trip through the backcountry of Lisbon with a stop in Mafra, containing a monumental palace called Palácio Nacional de Mafra (see separate photo story). At the end of the day we have found an amazing overnight stay at the Praia Azul inclusive a wonderful sunset.

The trip led us from Praia Azul to Nazaré with one of the famous surfer beaches of the world. We passed again Óbidos and have overnight at a campsite close to Nazaré.

The trip led us through the beautiful landscape influenced by the Rio Zêzere. We started the amazing trip in Dornes and find an amazing overnight spot at the lake Barragem do Cabril.
The trip was characterised by winding roads with an breathless end.

We was influenced desire to see the ocean, therefore we decided to took the direct way to the ocean. At the end we have found my favorite of the overnight stays in Portugal. This was grained with a kite flying event and a beach event and an amazing sunset.
One of my favorite days ending with a WOW.
