With the first day of the summer holidays we have started our trip to the islands of the North-West of Europe. Our day target is to found a nice spot for celebrating the birthday of Lisa. We have found a wonderful spot in Schloßböckelheim, submontane at the hill Heimberg.

As surprise for Lisa self-baked cake from Luna our oldest daughter.

Our overnight spot has been found in Kronenburg in the front of an official campsite and directly at a barrier lake (Kronenburger See).

An amazing start in our tour to the islands of the North-West of Europe.

Date 23rd of July 2022

After the breakfast we had made an extensive walk to the lake and have found an amazing playground and a great volleyball court. We have used every equipment very intensive. Before noon we went forward to Belgium.

In Hamoir we took our lunch break directly at the river "Ourthe", inclusive an italian ice cream. In the evening we found our overnight spot on a parkplace in front of the lakeside resort Relais de Falemprise, Philippeville. The lakeside resort was closed even August, But the east entry was open and therefore we was able to used the lakeside resort for Volleyball. The lake itself was owned by sitting brants.

Date 24th-25th of July 2022

After waking-up we drove to Mons in order to visit the city park of Mons. In this city park we took our lunch and have enjoyed the summer temperature in the shadow of the trees. In the city park there was a big playground and a lot of sports equipments.

By Kortrijk we lost our break power, and we don't known why. We went forward on small streets in order to reach a camping site at the North Sea coast of Belgium. We have already reached this camping site even though only one eighth of our break power has been existed.

On the next day an car mechanic have helped us to fix the problem with the break, only a screw has been released holding the break tube.

The rest of the day we have enjoyed the wonderful weather at the beach of DePanne.

We have learned more about our truck and enjoyed a wonderful summer holiday day.

Date 26th of July 2022

Today we have reached South-England by using the Eurotunnel. The Eurotunnel was expensive but the entry to the train with our truck was exciting. We have chosen campsite for our overnight stay in Lydd.

A great experience to travel with the Eurotunnel within our truck.
