Date 25th of August 2022th

The plan for today was to left England in order to spend some sunny days at the North Coast of France. Immediately after the breakfast we went straight forward to Dover in order to take the ferry to Calais.

A great round trip through United Kingdom ends with an amazing sunset on the ferry and a great view to the white cliffs of Dover.

Cambridge -> Dover -> Sangatte

Date 26th of August 2022

The whole morning and noon time at the Plage de Sangatte and the whole afternoon and evening at Plage du Braek. Sandcastle, Sandpictures, Sandholes and Sandcaves plus Football, Volleyball, Watergames and Running. The whole day fun and relaxing at the beach. The days ends with an amazing sunset at the Plage du Braek in Dunkerque.

Sangatte -> Plage de Sangatte -> Plage du Braek -> Dunkerque 

Date 27th of August 2022th

Until afternoon we spent at the Plage du Braek and left a big Sandcastle in Dunkerque. We made our late lunch break in Merville close to the local city park with playground and sports equipments.

In Dinant, Belgium, we took an overnight stay in downtown in front of a church.

Dunkerque -> Merville -> Dinant

Date 28th of August 2022th

After waking-up we have been surprised with a Marathon in Dinant. The whole town was closed for the traffic with the consequent that we have to wait until the Marathon ends. Therefore we had many time to discover the beautiful town Dinant.

Our lunch break was in Rochefort, at the local campsite close to a small park with a playground.

In the evening we have reached our house in Germany.
