Date 26th of August 2022

We have been wacked up at a camping site on Esch an der Alzette, Luxembourg. Close to this camping site their is a zoo with local animals and a lot of playground equipments. The entry is free for camper. Before we drove forward we visited the zoo and everybody have fun and a lot of movements.

Afternoon we entered France and the weather was skanky. Up to our overnight stop by Blancs-Coteaux there was continuous rain. Sadly during the drive in the continuous rain the windscreen wipes failed. At the end Lisa fallen ill, too.

Nevertheless we have reached our overnight stop and the night was quiet even continuous rain.

Date 29th of December 2022

We woke up and the weather was friendly and Lisa felt well. The day can come and we went forward to Paris, through the Champagne. Before reaching Paris we had our lunch break within a Fast Food-Restaurant in Meaux.

In Paris we had reserved a place at the Camping place "Camping de Paris" in the West of Paris, with good public transport connections.

Date 30th of December 2022 a special photo story about Paris.

The morning is starting with rain, therefore we took a long breakfast up to the end of the rain. Our tour has been started at 12 a.m.. We took the bus from Camping de Paris to the metro station Neuilly - Porte Maillot. We took the Metro only for one station to the station Argentine.

Now we went per pedest to the Arc de Triomphe de l’Étoile, followed by the Champs-Élysées. From the Champs-Élysées we walked to the Jardins des Champs-Élysées and the Place de la Concorde. Our first milestone is ended with the Jardin des Tuileries und dem Musée du Louvre.

This tour, from the Arc de Triomphe to the Musée du Louvre connected a lot of the famous attractions of Paris and is good to walk for families with childrens especially because of the both city parks at the end of this tour.

After a lunch break we walked to the Seine-Island l'İle de la Cité. At the island we visited the Sainte-Chapelle, the Cathédrale Notre-Dame de Paris and the amazing markedt "Marché aux Fleurs Reine Elizabeth II".

In the following we have to took a long walk to the Panthéon, the Église Saint-Sulpice and the Hôtel des Invalides. Up to here everybody from the family was very stoked. But the highlight for our kids will be come at the end of the day, the Eiffel Tower by night plus a visit on the top of the Eiffel Tower and Paris by night from the top.

For teenager (older than 10 years) is Paris a must-see.

Date 31st of December 2022 a special photo story about Paris.

Today we visited Montmartre one of the lovely places for me and Lisa. Again we took the bus and the Metro in order to reach Montmartre. In Montmartre we visited the Basilica of Sacré-Cœur and the Square Louise Michel. Our two daughters took the chance to have a ride with a historical carousel. After a quite walk down from Montmartre we have saw the onliest vineyard from Paris.

In the afternoon we walked through the districts Marais, Saint-Jacques, Saint-Germain-l'Auxerrois and the Place des Vosges. Finally in the evening we have saw the pyramids of the Louvre by night.

Paris is every time a moment for the life.

Date 01st of January 2023 a special photo story about Versailles.

The first day of 2023 we spent our time in Versailles. We took the train for visiting Versailles. In Versailles we visited mainly the Château de Versailles and the Parc de Versailles. 

Versailles was a wonderful end of our short trip to visit Paris by Silvester.

Camping de Paris -> Suresnes -> Versailles -> Château de Versailles -> Parc de Versailles. 

Date 02nd of January 2023

Today we need to complete the whole distance to home on this one day. In two days the school is beginning. In addition to the long distance the continuous rain was back and our windscreen wipers still failed. Nevertheless we have achieved our target and have reached our home in the evening.
