Sunrise at the cliffs of Mutriku. Bypassing the beach of Deba. Goodbye Spain and welcome France with a great lunch break at the beach Plage de Milady. In the afternoon we left the coast in order to took the direct way to North-East. We visited Dax and found our overnight spot in Mont-de-Marsan.

Got up at the coast of North-Spain and got sleep in South-France.

A trip through the countryside of Aquitaine and Midi-Pyrénées. We crossed many beautiful towns and a wonderful countryside. Our day has been started with regional animals in Mont-de-Marsan and has been ended between lake and football ground in Le Vigan.

Four lakes and all have been used for a stop. Lac Vert our sunrise spot in the morning, Lac du Coiroux our lunch break stop, Lac du Deiro our stop in the afternoon for our dinner and Lac de Labeille our sunset stop for overnighting. Unforgettable the Lac du Coiroux was closed for swimming but fortunately we have found the lake Lac du Deiro for our evening swimming.

Today was hot and we drove all over the places in order to forge ahead and we found amazing stops in Vichy, Digoin and Laizy. In Vichy we had a great lunch break with an amazing park. In Digoin we found an amazing stop at the river with playground and a great panorama. In Lazy we have found a hidden spot for the night.

A very hot day with many surprises.

We had a quiet night at the side of the river L'Arroux. In Autun we had found a nice stop in front of the lake Plan d'Eau du Vallon. In the afternoon we took the ability to swim in the idyllic lake Arnay-le-Duc. In the evening time we found a busy beach at the lake Lac d'Arc-sur-Tille. In the amazing town Gray we enjoyed the sunset. In Mersuay we have overnighted beside the river Lanterne.

Again all stops where in close distance to lakes or rivers.

Date 10th of September 2023

Today we will leave France and reach Germany. During the day we spent the most time in Épinal and Saarburg. In Épinal we have visited a city festival and enjoyed the local kitchen. In Saarburg we had luck to found a great leisure park with a swimming lake, a playground and a fitness area. The streets have lead us through a beautiful countryside. At the end we have overnighted directly in the front of the university of Karlsruhe.

Good bye France and welcome Germany.
